Davy Jones RIP

Davy Jones’ passing ends an era. So much for Monkees reunions. Jones , who checked out courtesy of a heart attack, was key to the underrated band. The Monkees, who recorded a number of stellar tracks, such as ‘I’m A Believer,’ ‘Last Train to Clarksville,’ and ‘Mary, Mary,’ nailed it. But The Monkees never got the credit the band deserved. They have a pretty impressive canon for a manufactured act and Jones was at the center of it.
