Jay Z appeared in Center City to announce that he’s bringing a two-day Festival to Philadelphia Labor Day Weekend. The ‘Made In America’ fest, which is slated for Sept. 1 and 2 in Fairmount Park, will feature hip-hop, rock Latin and more. “It’s such an iconic place, so it’s a natural fit,” Jay Z said about Philly during a press conference on the Parkway.
Interesting considering that usually Philly is quiet during Labor Day, which is a time when most head to the shore. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are also performing during Labor Day weekend. The Boss plays Sept 2 and 3 at Citizens Bank Park
